A refurbished device is only truly refurbished if you can rely on it. That is why every device that arrives at Forza first undergoes a thorough inspection before it appears in our online shop. This way, you can be sure that your device does what it is supposed to do.
People and machines working together
We have been working with robotic quality control since 2017. A robot tests accurately and works in exactly the same way every time. But a robot cannot see everything. That is why we combine this precision with the expertise of our specialists. We now work with 3 new test robots from FutureDial.
The 50-point test
Every device undergoes a 50-point test. The robot carries out half of these checks, while one of our specialists performs the other half. Together, they check, among other things:
- Screen and touchscreen: does the screen respond as it should everywhere?
- Cameras: both the front and rear cameras.
- Face ID or Touch ID: so that you can unlock your device securely.
- Speaker and microphone: for clear conversations and good sound.
- Connections: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS.
- Sensors: such as the light sensor, proximity sensor and motion sensors.
- Vibration motor and flash: the small things count too.
Repairing devices in our own workshop
If anything comes to light during the test, the device is sent to our own repair facility. Our technicians repair the problem there. After the repair, the device goes through the test again, so that we can be sure everything is working properly again.
Ready for a second life
Has a device passed all the checks? Then it is ready for its new owner and appears in our online shop. Not before. This way of working has also been independently confirmed: Forza has the Keurmerk Refurbished quality mark.
