Yes. Every refurbished device you buy from Forza is ready to use. It is SIM-free, is not linked to the previous owner's account and has been reset to factory settings. This means you can start with a clean slate.
SIM-free: suitable for any provider
A SIM lock is a restriction that means you can only use a device with a SIM card from one specific provider. Our refurbished devices are always SIM-free. So you can use your own SIM card or eSIM, whatever provider you use.
No iCloud or Google account belonging to the previous owner
On an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or MacBook, the Find My feature can cause a device to remain locked to the previous owner's Apple ID. On a Samsung device, this works with the Google and Samsung accounts. This type of lock makes a device unusable for a new owner.
That is why we check this on every device that comes in. If a device still has an active Find My feature, an iCloud lock, a company's management profile or a SIM lock, it will not be listed in our online shop. The devices you buy from us are therefore free from accounts and locks. Find My is turned off when you receive your device.
Reset to factory settings
All the previous owner's data is completely erased by us. Photos, apps, messages and settings: nothing is left behind. We then reset the device to factory settings. So when you turn on your device for the first time, you will see the same start screen as on a new device.
